A welcome and unpretentious Surfside bistro and tapas bar with an elegant setting and equally elegant offering. The menu includes pristine lobster salad with citrus and vanilla dressing, foie gras two ways with cognac and cherries, tender short rib with spaetzle and charred root vegetables and coriander-dusted tuna with blood orange. Executive Chef Paul Anthony Morello, formerly of Mezzaluna in Ismir, Turkey, Vinton Townhouse in Coral Gables, and the fabled Café Chauveron in Bay Harbor Islands, oversees the culinary team at The Food Gang, and manage the restaurant’s new Gourmet Company, the on-site gourmet shop. The store offers fresh premium charcuterie and cheeses, housemade pastries, prepared foods made daily and imported coffees, Fauchon chocolates and Cipriani fancy dry pastas.
